The challenge and our response
The Human Rights Protection Programme promotes respect for human dignity by protecting and advancing internationally recognized human rights and fundamental freedoms. The programme works to prevent human rights violations, support victims, strengthen accountability mechanisms, and encourage compliance with national and international human rights standards.
ILA monitors and documents human rights situations across communities, provides legal support to victims, engages in advocacy and strategic litigation, and collaborates with state and non-state actors to strengthen human rights protection systems.
The programme contributes to building a culture of respect for human rights by promoting awareness, accountability, and citizen participation.
